Early Careers Teacher (ECT)

Are you a passionate and dedicated Early Careers Teacher (ECT) ready to embark on an exciting career in primary education? We are currently working alongside multiple welcoming primary schools in Leeds area that are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join their dynamic teaching team.

As an ECT Primary Teacher with our supply agency, you'll have the opportunity to work on a flexible supply basis or secure longer-term placements. This role offers variety, the chance to build experience in diverse school settings, and the support of a dedicated team to help you succeed in your career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment to support the development of all students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share ideas, resources, and best practices.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
  • Establish effective communication with parents and guardians to promote a collaborative approach to education.

Requirements:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or pending completion as an NQT.
  • Passion for primary education and a commitment to fostering a love of learning.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
