About the Role:We are currently looking for a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Teaching Assistant to join the inclusive support team at School, a well-regarded and ambitious secondary school in Leeds. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting students with SEMH needs or moderate learning difficulties, and who understands the importance of tailored support to help every student reach their full potential. You will work alongside teaching staff and pastoral teams to ensure students receive both academic and emotional support throughout the school day-and occasionally beyond it through after-school clubs or activities.

Position Details
Start Date: ASAP | Location: Leeds | Hours: Part-time (Monday - Thursday)
Essential Requirements:
- Experience working with young people in a school or youth setting
- Experience supporting students with SEMH needs and/or moderate learning difficulties
- A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Eligibility to work in the UK

Responsibilities
- Supporting students 1:1 or in small groups
- Helping students regulate emotions and behaviour
- Assisting with differentiated tasks in class
- Monitoring student progress and feeding back to teachers
- Contributing to individual education plans (IEPs)
- Promoting positive behaviour and attitudes
- Building trusting relationships with vulnerable students
- Encouraging independence and self-confidence in learners
- Ensuring a safe and supportive environment for learning
