Unqualified Teaching Assistants Required to Work in Schools Throughout Leeds
We are seeking a dedicated Unqualified Teaching Assistants with experience to join Engage for work available with an ASAP start. Ideally you will be available 5 days per week to be able to provide continuity for students you are supporting. Most support roles now require you to work with a variety of SEN needs so it is key you are open to this or already have experience.
Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents
- Assist in educating and mentoring students with a focus on special education
- Support individuals, especially those with autism, in their learning journey
- Provide tutoring and guidance to help students achieve their academic potential
Experience
- Experience working with children is essential and this must be in a professional setting within the last 2 years
- Previous experience in special education is highly desirable
- Familiarity with supporting individuals with autism is advantageous
- Ability to mentor and educate students effectively
