Unqualified Teaching Assistants Required to Work in Schools Throughout Leeds

We are seeking a dedicated Unqualified Teaching Assistants with experience to join Engage for work available with an ASAP start. Ideally you will be available 5 days per week to be able to provide continuity for students you are supporting. Most support roles now require you to work with a variety of SEN needs so it is key you are open to this or already have experience.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents
  • Assist in educating and mentoring students with a focus on special education
  • Support individuals, especially those with autism, in their learning journey
  • Provide tutoring and guidance to help students achieve their academic potential

Experience

  • Experience working with children is essential and this must be in a professional setting within the last 2 years
  • Previous experience in special education is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with supporting individuals with autism is advantageous
  • Ability to mentor and educate students effectively
