Job Description:
- Skilled and enthusiastic people to join us as an Electrical Engineer.
- Support the Production Department throughout the provision of planned and daily maintenance, and technical advice on a range of bespoke machinery.
- The development of new equipment and processes as well as the maintenance of Company properties also form part of the overall departmental responsibilities.
Beneficial Skills / Qualifications:
- Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition qualification preferred but not essential
- Previous experience of working in an Electrical Engineer capacity in a manufacturing environment, and proficiency in PLC Control and Variable Speed Motor Controllers.
- The ability to use your own initiative to solve problems, and to challenge the 'status quo'.
- A self-motivated attitude and a proven commitment to seeing a job through to its conclusion to maintain production.
- A flexible approach to your work, in terms of production and maintenance demands as well as continuous improvement methods.
- Project management
- Machine building
- CAD electrical drawing
- PUWER risk assessments
