Are you an engineer with a sharp eye for detail, excellent diagnostic instincts, and a passion for solving real-world mechanical and electrical problems?
We’re looking for a technically skilled professional to join one of the world’s leading manufacturers of food production machinery as a Product Support Engineer. This is not an IT role—it’s a focused engineering support position where you’ll identify components, interpret technical drawings, and work closely with manufacturing, engineering, customer support and supply chain teams around the world.
What you’ll be doing as Product Support Engineer:
- Reviewing engineering service reports and identifying required parts
- Analysing mechanical and electrical drawings to trace complex assemblies
- Using partial part numbers or technical images to match components
- Collaborating with manufacturing sites and field engineers globally
- Maintaining accurate records within BOMs and PLM systems
- Prioritising workloads and enquiries in line with business KPIs
- Supporting colleagues during process changes and product updates
- Identifying recurring component needs to assist proactive parts supply
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
What we’re looking for:
- HND or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or similar)
- Strong understanding of industrial machinery, parts, and drawings
- Comfortable reading electrical schematics and mechanical layouts
- Confident with Excel, Outlook, and engineering data platforms
- Experience working with BOMs, PLM systems, and product lifecycle
- Excellent communication, coordination, and organisational skills
- Engineering background in food, FMCG, or manufacturing (preferred)
The package:
- £40,000 - £60,000 depending on experience
- Flexible hybrid working after 6-month onboarding (Leeds-based)

Location:
You’ll be based at the Leeds office with hybrid working after the training period. Ideally, you’ll live within 1 hour of Leeds, though flexibility is available for the right person.
