TSA Surveying are currently working in partnership with a building services consultancy that are looking to add a Senior Electrical Engineer to an ongoing project in Leeds.

The role is for a Senior Electrical Engineerto support the ongoing refurbishment of a prestigious heritage site in Leeds city centre. This is a temporary position ideal for a seasoned professional with strong contractor management experience and a flexible, proactive approach to project delivery.

The successfulcandidatewill be required to:
  • Provide expert electrical engineering input for the refurbishment project
  • Liaise and coordinate effectively with contractors, consultants, and internal teams
  • Attend regular site meetings and inspections to ensure compliance and progress
  • Support design reviews, technical evaluations, and engineering assessments
  • Deliver consistent technical advice and reporting throughout the project life cycle

The successfulcandidate will have:
  • Proven experience as a Senior Electrical Engineer, ideally in heritage or public building projects
  • A strong track record of working with and managing contractors
  • Ability to work independently and manage time across multiple work environments (site, office, remote)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills

The role will run for an estimated 3-6 months in duration, with the successful candidatebeing required initially for a maximum of 3 days a week, which will be a combination of working from home, in the office, and site visits. After 3 months durationthis will reduce to 1 working day per week. This role would be ideal for any individuallooking to work part-time, or fill their diary alongside additionalprojects.
