Permanent - Full Time - 40 Hours

We are looking to recruit an Electrician to join our team in Leeds.

About the Role

Working to deliver the best quality service, you will join us to undertake electrical repairs, testing and installation works across your dedicated area, whilst complying with BS7671, ensuring implementation and compliance is in line with our Health and Safety Policy and procedures. The works will mainly be in social / voids and maintenance for the Homegroup.

You will produce concise and accurate data records through PDA / mobile communication systems and reporting, ensuring tasks are completed right, first time, with materials and timescales both achievable and deliverable. Attending Team Briefs, Toolbox Talks and Technical Bulletins monthly, you will demonstrate a positive, diverse, and inclusive attitude to both internal and external customer and colleagues always.

About You

The minimum qualification requirements for this role are as follow:

Any of:

  • Level 3 NVQ in Electrotechnical Services (Electrical Installation - Buildings & Structures)
  • Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical systems and equipment (buildings, structures, and the environment)
  • City & Guilds 2360 Electrical Installation Theory and Practice Parts 1&2
  • Level 3 Certificate in Electrotechnical Technology

and

  • Electrical Installations BS7671 (18th Edition) if not delivered as part of one of the above courses.
  • ECS Card - Gold (this can be obtained during probation)

The desirable qualifications for this role are as follow:

Demonstrated competence in Inspection and Testing and obtained either:

  • Level 3 Certificate in the Certification of Electrical Installations (inspection, testing and certification of electrical installations) or
  • Both the City & Guilds 2394 Level 3 Award in the Initial Verification & Certification of Electrical Installations and the City & Guilds 2395 Level 3 Award in the Periodic, Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations or equivalent.

You must hold a valid full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months as a company vehicle will be provided (work use only).
