- The role involves providing building services and plant room maintenance for large scale estates, requiring a Level 3 professional engineering qualification and ideally experience in electrical engineering.
- Candidates should have proven building maintenance experience, particularly in a commercial environment, and must possess an 18th edition qualification.
- The position offers a salary of £23.00 per hour PAYE, with overtime opportunities and mileage paid, and candidates will work 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday.
- Applicants must be presentable, articulate, and able to pass security and financial checks, as well as hold a driving license for mobile operations.
Maintenance Electrician - Duties & Responsibilities
Completing building services / electrical maintenance across industrial, governmental, and commercial facilities.
To undertake planned and reactive maintenance tasks on electrical systems
To cover all maintenance of lighting, emergency systems, building services plant room electrical systems.
To complete PPMs in line with SLA and KPI agreements
To respond to Helpdesk requests, providing a professional and timely service
Work on AHU's, fans coils and general HVAC plant room
Mechanical and fabric tasks where required
Compliance checks
Small works projects
Lead works providing guidance to resident maintenance personnel, client managers and sub-contractors
Provide guidance on compliance and scheduling of checks plus visibility of compliance records
Maintenance Electrician Skills & Background Required
Recognised professional engineering qualification, Level 3
Ideally electrical engineering / Qualified Electrician
Multiskilled background, ideally to have experience on general HVAC plant including AHU's, fan coils etc.
18th edition
Proven building maintenance experience within a commercial environment
Must be presentable, articulate with a sound understanding of compliance and PPM paperwork and records
Able to clear security check and financial check
Driving license and willing to operate on a mobile basis
Familiar with Facilities Management Sector
