The role involves leading an expanding engineering team on both new product development and legacy projects, with a focus on hardware and some embedded software.
Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in an SME environment supplying to large corporate customers, specifically with a background in RF engineering.
Responsibilities include managing multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery, and mentoring junior staff while working on PCB design and circuit testing.
A degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Computing, or Physics is required, along with proficiency in PCB design software and strong digital circuit design skills.

Leading their expanding engineering team on a mixture of NPD and legacy projects you will mix your time between hands on design work and mentoring your small but expanding team. Principal Electronics Engineer - Role & Responsibilities - Electronic Engineering Manager / RF / Hardware / PCB

- Manage multiple projects including new design and rework/modification
- Efficiently work to deadlines and guarantee delivery on company deadlines
- Varied role encompassing all aspects of hardware engineering including PCB schematics, layout design, circuit design and test engineering
- Exposure to firmware/embedded software
- Liaise with other members of the engineering team and direct junior members of staff

Principal Electronics Engineer - Skills & Abilities - Electronic Engineering Manager / RF / Hardware / PCB

- Degree qualified in Electrical & Electronic Engineering / Computing / Physics or equivalent
- Proficient in the use of PCB schematic capture and layout software
- Excellent digital circuit design
- Knowledge of embedded processors
- RF experience
- Experience in a senior or team leader role with mentoring responsibilities for junior staff
