Job Title: ISO9001 Consultant
Location: UK Remote, ad-hoc travel to Leeds
Rate: Outside IR35
Length: 6 months with a strong chance of extension
Start Date: ASAP
A well-established international technology business is seeking an experienced ISO9001 Consultant to deliver ISO9001 certification as part of a wider compliance and quality assurance initiative. The organisation is already ISO27001 certified and is now focused on achieving ISO9001 to meet updated operational requirements.
The successful consultant will lead on the full certification lifecycle, from gap analysis and system development through to audit readiness and continuous improvement. This is a high-visibility role that requires strong hands-on expertise and the ability to work across multiple teams.
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct a detailed gap analysis against ISO9001 requirements
- Develop and implement a fit-for-purpose Quality Management System (QMS)
- Support the rollout and adoption of quality processes across the organisation
- Lead internal audits and prepare for external certification
- Drive improvements in documentation, compliance, and process efficiency
ISO9001 Consultant Requirements:
- Proven experience delivering ISO9001 certification within a complex environment
- Strong understanding of ISO9001 standards and audit practices
- ISO9001 Lead Auditor certification is highly desirable
- Skilled in process mapping, documentation, and quality frameworks
- Experience with QMS tools such as Qualsys or Q-Pulse
- Confident in stakeholder engagement and change management
