This is an exciting opportunity for a Geo-Environmental Engineer to join a multidisciplinary engineering team in Leeds. You'll be provided with excellent resources, support, specialist training and varied work to develop your career.
This Geo-Environmental Engineer position will involve regularly attending and assisting with site walkovers, carrying out site investigations, soil and rock logging, preparing phase plans and carrying out phase 1 Desk Studies. You'll also be writing interpretive and factual reports, work on in situ testing and observing day-to-day tasks to develop geo-environmental knowledge.
The successful Geo-Environmental Engineer will:
- Have a minimum of a BSc in geology, geoscience, geotechnical engineering, environmental science or a relevant subject (MSc preferable).
- Been keen to learn and develop geo-environmental skills.
- Show enthusiasm for working outdoors in a hands on role.
- Hold a full UK driving licence.
- Commutable to Leeds.
- Full right to work in the UK.
