Staffline is recruiting Maintenance & Facilities Operatives in Leeds.

The rate of pay is £13.50 per hour, depending on engineering background, this could increase!

This is a full-time role working fixed shifts, Monday to Friday, and the hours of work are:
- 8am to 5pm

Your Time at Work

As a Maintenance & Facilities Operative your duties include:

- Supporting the production (Extrusion and Reclaim) Warehouse/ Maintenance team in their day-to-day duties.
- Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety, BRC and ISO are fully met.
- Supporting the Production Manager with stock control.
- Supporting with warehouse duties and ancillary support on the extrusion equipment.
- Supporting maintenance with the PPM schedule.
- Assisting the maintenance team in all aspects on-site.
- Helping to maintain the daily production activities.
- Ensuring factory cleanliness and managing a 'clean as you go' standard
- Performing support for order changes when required
- Helping support with basic problem-solving
- Cleaning duties during machine shutdown (i.e., Die strip/breakdown)

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will be self-motivated and able to work off their own initiative. You will have the ability to work both efficiently and effectively alone, as well as part of a large and varied team.

Applicants must have a Counterbalance Fork Truck licence and previous experience in a manufacturing/production environment. Engineering background preferred. Prior hands-on experience with electrical work is required.

Knowledge of Health and Safety, Iso Quality systems and Hygiene Standards.

You will have great time-keeping and outstanding verbal communication skills
