Here at Hays, we are working with a non-for-profit based in North Leeds to recruit a Senior Administrator to provide comprehensive support to senior leadership. This is a temporary role initially until the end of the year. You will be supporting the executive team and managing complex schedules and documentation. This role is full-time with 35 hours a week, paying £25,500 (pro rata). Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level administrative support to senior executives, including diary management for up to five individuals.
  • Coordinator governance activities, including preparing agendas, distributing papers, and taking minutes for board and trustee committee meetings.
  • Liaise with trustees and senior stakeholders, ensuring timely communication and follow-up on actions.
  • Maintain and manage documentation and records using SharePoint, ensuring version control and accessibility.
  • Draft correspondence, reports, and presentations on behalf of senior leadership.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Support internal projects and assist with strategic initiatives as required.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience in a Senior Administrative role, ideally within the public sector.
  • Experience supporting governance functions and trustee or board-level committees.
  • Strong diary management skills, ideally supporting multiple senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and SharePoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
