Our client, a superb International Financial Services firm with offices in Leeds city centre, seeks to recruit an experienced Finance Manager to join their team. You will ensure efficient financial operations and compliance within their regulated environment. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will manage a small team, drive process improvements, maintain robust financial controls, and support strategic financial objectives.

The Role:

  • Reporting into the Financial Controller.
  • Lead and mentor the small finance team.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain and strengthen balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes.
  • Ensure compliance with FCA regulations.
  • Drive process improvements and optimise use of financial systems.
  • Assist the Financial Controller with ad-hoc projects.

The Person:

You will be a fully qualified accountant with strong accounting experience and demonstrated team management skills. Ideally you will have experience within financial services or a regulated industry with knowledge of HMCR & FCA regulations.
