An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing construction company as a finance manager in East Leeds!
Due to an internal promotion this role has become vacant, you will be reporting into the Financial Controller.
Duties will include:
- Preparation and posting of journals, accruals and prepayments for the production of management accounts
- Preparation of annual statutory accounts
- Production of budgets, forecasts and weekly cashflows
- Take the lead on analysis of monthly numbers and present findings to board
- Management of end to end audit process
- Take the lead of payment of payroll, VAT and HMRC process
- Reviewing of payment runs
- Coach and mentor a junior member of staff
This business is open to first or second time movers from practice, or an industry accountant
