This is a key leadership role for someone who enjoys managing people and driving improvements across finance operations. Youll lead a finance team, take ownership of the monthly accounts across multiple entities, and help refine processes to keep pace with the businesss expansion all whilst acting as a right-hand person to the businesses group Financial Controller.
- Managing and developing a team with 4 direct reports and a larger span of control
- Overseeing accurate, timely management accounts across several group entities
- Using Xero to maintain clean financial data and reporting
- Reviewing and explaining variances to senior stakeholders
- Leading balance sheet reconciliations including intercompany, accruals, and fixed assets
- Supporting budgets, forecasts, VAT/CIS returns, and external audits
- Partnering with operational teams to drive improvements and add commercial value
- Improving reporting, controls, and processes to enhance efficiency
- Qualified, Studier or qualified by experience (it doesnt matter much if the experience is there!)
- Experience managing or supervising a finance team
- Confident using Xero and expeirence in a multi-entity environment
- Engaging individual who wants to learn about the business and champion the finance department within the company
- Up to £50,000 + £5,000 annual bonus
