Reed Finance is working exclusively with a charity in Leeds who are looking to recruit a Finance and Operations Manager
You will be responsible for overseeing the financial and operational functions of the charity. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong financial acumen and excellent organisational skills.Â
The successful candidate will ensure the charity's financial health and operational efficiency, supporting the Chief Executive and the Board of Trustees in achieving the charity's objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management:•   Develop and manage annual budgets and financial plans.•   Monitor and report on financial performance, including preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.•   Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.•   Manage a small transactional team.•   Oversee grant management and donations.
Operational Management:•   Develop and improve operational policies and procedures.•   Ensure efficient and effective administrative processes.•   Manage office facilities and IT systems.•   Coordinate with external vendors and service providers.•   Support HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
Strategic Planning:•   Contribute to the development and implementation of the charity's strategic plan.•   Identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost savings.•   Assist in fundraising and development activities.
Qualifications and experience:
•   Qualified ACCA, ACA, CIMA or CIPFA•   Previous experience in finance and operations management, preferably in the non-profit sector.•   Strong knowledge of financial management principles and practices.•   Excellent organizational and leadership skills.•   Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.•   Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.•   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.•   Commitment to the mission and values of.
