Are you an experienced Financial Planner looking to focus on delivering expert advice to engaged, existing clients within a supportive, forward-thinking organisation?Our client, a leading financial wellbeing and retirement planning provider, is seeking a Strategic Planner - Private Wealth (Existing Clients) to join their expanding team. This is a rare opportunity to work with a highly motivated client base comprising professionals and senior executives from some of the UK's most recognised employers and pension schemes.The RoleAs a Strategic Planner, you'll focus on delivering tailored, regulated financial advice to an established client bank, with occasional involvement in new client engagement. You'll provide comprehensive financial planning that incorporates tax-efficient strategies, pension income options, and discretionary investment solutions, aligned with the firm's house view.Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing holistic, ongoing financial advice to existing clients.
  • Conducting in-depth fact-finding and risk assessments to understand each client's objectives.
  • Advising on complex pension arrangements, investment strategies, and company share schemes.
  • Working with a team of paraplanners and administrators to ensure high-quality, timely advice delivery.
  • Delivering advice virtually or face-to-face, based on client preference.
  • Building long-term client relationships with a focus on retention, trust, and value.

About YouYou're a confident, technically proficient Financial Planner who enjoys delivering high-quality advice and can demonstrate:

  • Competent Adviser Status (CAS) and FCA Registration (CF30)
  • Level 4+ financial planning qualifications (AF3, AF7, JO5, or G60 desirable)
  • Proven experience working with high-net-worth individuals or workplace scheme members
  • Expertise in personal taxation, pension income options, and discretionary investments
  • A client-first, results-driven attitude with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to deliver advice via both virtual platforms and in-person meetings
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Teams, Word, and Excel
