Penguin Recruitment is proud to be working on behalf of a leading company in the building compliance sector to recruit a Level 1 Air Tightness Tester! This role is an exciting opportunity to join the UK's largest building compliance team and contribute to ensuring compliance with Part L of the Building Regulations 2021. This is a remote role, offering excellent opportunities for career growth, with training towards Level 2 certification along with expertise in thermal imaging, sound testing, and consultancy.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform air tightness tests across domestic dwellings in compliance with the latest regulations.
- Conduct site inspections to identify and address air leakage issues.
- Evaluate architectural plans and provide professional recommendations for improvement.
- Offer consultancy services to help clients reduce compliance risks and enhance energy efficiency.
- Compile detailed, accurate test reports and suggest effective remedial actions.
Candidate Profile
To excel in the role, you should bring:
- A Level 1 Air Tightness Tester certification (or equivalent qualifications).
- A thorough understanding of Part L of the Building Regulations 2021.
- Excellent attention to detail paired with strong communication skills.
- A valid UK driving licence with flexibility for travel across Northern England.
