Job Title: Forklift Driver (FLT)
Location: Hunslet, Leeds LS10
Salary: £12.31 + Overtime
Contract Type: Full-time (Temp – Perm)
Working Hours: Monday – Friday 08:30am – 6:00pm
About the Role
We are currently recruiting hardworking Forklift Driver (FLT) to join a busy Fire door warehousing team. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of warehouse operations, including Scanning, Receiving, Storing, Picking & Packing, and Dispatching goods efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities of working as a Forklift Driver (FLT)
- Receive, check, and store incoming goods and materials
- Pick and pack orders according to company procedures using a Forklift
- Load and unload delivery vehicles safely
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Operate warehouse equipment such as Forklifts
- Assist with regular stock checks and inventory control
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
- Report any damages, shortages, or issues to the supervisor
Skills and Experience for working as a Forklift Driver (FLT)
- Must hold a valid Forklift Counterbalance License
- Ideally have at least 2 years Forklifting experience
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to lift and move stock safely
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and a good team player
