We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Works Operative to join our multidisciplinary team. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in delivering excellent customer service, thrive in a collaborative environment, and demonstrate a strong commitment to quality and safety.
Job Description:
- Accurately and safely process orders in accordance with established procedures and timelines.
- Load and unload vehicles efficiently using a counterbalance forklift truck.
- Maintain accurate records that comply with legal and quality standards.
- Manage stock levels of packaged finished goods with precision and care.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities, adhering to 5S principles to enhance team efficiency.
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and legislation to uphold operational integrity and employee safety.
- Support broader site operations as required, including general upkeep and other duties aligned with the role.
Beneficial Skills / Experience:
- Proven experience in a warehouse or similar operational environment.
- Valid counterbalance forklift license (essential).
- Strong initiative and communication skills.
- Team-oriented with a flexible and professional approach.
- Strong Health and Safety awarenessÂ
- Competent in using computers and relevant software.
Additional Details:
- Full-time position: 35 hours per week
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PMÂ
