In this role you'll work collaboratively with the Account Executive team, providing exceptional service to a wide range of allocated clients - there is plenty of variety to your day, and an opportunity to really contribute and have your voice heard.

Your new role:

  • As Account Handler you will be part of our expanding Leeds team, working alongside a team of 3 Account Executives on a range of cross class commercial clients
  • You'll be lots more than a post box, instead empowered to really think for yourself in order to find solutions for your clients throughout their insurance cycle
  • Daily duties will include advising clients, MTA's, managing the renewal process and quoting additional risks and requirements for existing clients - this isn't selling, its responding to your clients enquiries and needs
  • Lots of variety to your working day in the form of client interaction, negotiation and relationship building with insurers and supporting claims colleagues on your cases
  • You'll enjoy the grown up environment, where you'll be trusted to get on with the job

You:

  • An insurance Account Handler (or Underwriter looking for a change) with a solid grounding in commercial insurance and looking to further your career - you don't need to know it all, as training will fill in the gaps
  • You'll have strong client service skills, able to communicate effectively on the phone, by email and in person, where appropriate
  • Able to work to deadlines, managing multiple accounts and priorities effectively
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Cert CII) are a plus, but not essential
