Key Responsibilities:

Managing a varied caseload of clinical negligence claims from initial instruction to conclusion
Handling complex, high-value medical negligence cases
Obtaining and analysing medical records and expert opinions
Drafting detailed letters of claim and court documents
Negotiating settlements and attending mediations
Providing clear and compassionate advice to clients during difficult times

Requirements:

Solicitor/Legal Executive, with proven experience in clinical negligence (can be claimant or defendant experience)
Excellent technical knowledge of clinical negligence law and procedure
Strong analytical skills with ability to assess complex medical evidence
Experience in handling high-value and complex medical negligence cases
Exceptional client care skills with empathy and understanding
Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
Meticulous attention to detail
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to the wider team
Good commercial awareness
