FLT Driver

We are looking for an experienced and safety-conscious FLT Driver to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. This role involves operating forklifts to support production and warehouse operations, including material movements, loading/unloading, and stock handling. The position includes both indoor and occasional outdoor work – all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided.

Candidates with a background in manufacturing or warehousing are particularly well-suited for this role.

Roles &  Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklift trucks (counterbalance or reach, depending on certification) to move raw materials, components, and finished products.
• Load and unload deliveries efficiently while ensuring accurate documentation.
• Supply production lines with materials in a timely manner to avoid downtime.
• Maintain stock accuracy by correctly storing and recording inventory movements.
• Work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions (PPE provided).
• Perform daily pre-use equipment checks and report any defects or issues.
• Follow all site health and safety policies, procedures, and safe working practices.
• Support general warehouse and yard duties as required.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse, production, and logistics teams.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of working areas.

Key Requirements

• Valid FLT license (Counterbalance and/or Reach).
• Proven experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and physically active role.
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible and reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Happy with some outdoor work
