Thrive Personnel are seeking a motivated and dynamic Internal Sales Person to join our client, a leading builders merchant in Leeds. The ideal candidate will be responsible for new business development, growing existing accounts and maximising profit share; managing customer enquiries, processing orders and providing excellent customer service, whilst promoting a range of timber/building products.
This is an interesting and varied role with the ability to quickly progress to Assistant Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Making outbound sales calls to existing and potential clients to generate new business opportunities.
Processing sales orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
Achieving monthly sales targets and contributing to overall company growth.
Keeping up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends to effectively advise customers.
Assisting in managing inventory and reporting any stock issues to the management team.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in sales or customer service, preferably in the timber or construction industry.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM software is a plus.
A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
This role would suit somebody looking to take steps in to Management; full training to be given in all aspects of managing a busy yard.

Pay: 28,000.00-35,000.00 per year
