We're seeking a passionate and qualified KS1 Teacher to join a supportive primary setting in the Boston Spa LS23 area. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in early years or Key Stage 1 classrooms, bringing learning to life with care, structure, and imagination.

What You'll Do:

  • Plan and deliver inspiring lessons in phonics, early literacy, numeracy and topic-based learning

  • Create a nurturing environment that supports emotional and academic development

  • Implement clear and consistent routines to promote positive behaviour

  • Use creative strategies and interactive resources to meet all learning styles

  • Liaise effectively with teaching assistants, colleagues and parents

  • Monitor and assess individual pupil progress, adapting where needed

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Essential

  • Recent experience teaching in a KS1 setting

  • Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills

  • A kind, enthusiastic and flexible teaching approach

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
