A consultancy is seeking a lead Java developer for a public sector project that requires SC clearance or eligibility.
The position is inside IR35 and offers a salary of £490 per day.
Candidates should have recent experience with Java 21 or later and a strong understanding of TDD and BDD.
The role involves leading a team of five or more developers and requires experience with large microservice architectures in an Agile environment.
Additionally, applicants should have experience implementing APIs and a working knowledge of Unix-like operating systems such as Linux or Mac OS X.

I am working with a consulatncy feeding into a public sector end client who need a lead Java developers to join a project.

Inside IR35
490 per day
SC cleared (or eligible)
Weekly travel to Leeds.

Recent experience with Java 21 (or later).
Excellent understanding of TDD and BDD.
Lead a java team of 5 or more developers.
Experience with large microservice architectures.
Experience of working in an Agile environment.
Have experience in implementing APIs for internal and external use.
Have working knowledge of Unix-like operating systems such as Linux and/or Mac OS X.
