Motor Crime SolicitorA Motor Crime Solicitor/Legal Executive is wanted for an excellent opportunity with a Legal 500 law firm based in Leeds. Salary is negotiable dependant on experience.My client is an award winning, national law firm with an enviable reputation in the market. Due to continued growth and expansion they are looking to recruit a Motor Crime Solicitor to join their market leading team.The role involves acting for and representing the interests of policyholder insured clients being investigated for and/or charged with a wide range of motoring related offences. The nature of the work will range from fatal accident cases, serious injury, dangerous and careless driving charges to more routine standard cases prosecuted in the Magistrates and Crown Court.Your day-to-day duties will include preparing/reviewing evidence, interviewing witnesses/obtaining witness statements, dealing with disclosure, drafting correspondence, attending conferences with experts/clients/counsel, preparing and presenting cases in court, advising clients on legal matters and negotiating settlements,You will have experience of attending police interviews under caution, advising clients on all aspects both procedural and on points of law. In fatal accident case, you will be involved in the preparation for PIR and Coroner’s inquest Hearings, advising both insured clients and their insurers.The ideal candidate will be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with at least 2 years PQE and you will have solid motor crime experience.This is an excellent opportunity to join a national, award winning firm with a market leading salary and benefits package on offer.Apply now for immediate consideration.
