Personal Injury Paralegal – Leeds

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join a top-tier national law firm at its Leeds office, specialising in Fast Track RTA claims under the OIC portal. This is an excellent role for a motivated Paralegal who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is keen to develop their legal career within a leading PI team.

The Role:You will manage your own caseload of Road Traffic Accident (RTA) claims, progressing files through all stages of the Official Injury Claim (OIC) portal. The role demands strong attention to detail, confident decision-making and a commitment to delivering an exceptional client experience.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Running a full caseload of Fast Track RTA matters under the OIC portal
  • Providing clear, practical legal advice to clients throughout the process
  • Liaising with insurers, medical experts and other third parties to progress claims efficiently
  • Identifying when litigation is necessary and preparing cases accordingly
  • Ensuring compliance with internal systems, procedures and service level agreements

To be considered, you’ll need:

  • Previous experience managing or assisting with Fast Track RTA claims (OIC/Portal experience essential)
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Strong organisational ability and a proactive approach to case management
  • Proficiency with case management systems and Microsoft Office
  • A strong understanding of the RTA claims process, including pre-litigation and litigation stages
