The Role:
We are working with a forward-thinking and community-centred secondary school in Shipley seeking a Teacher of modern foreign languages, primarily Spanish, with the ability to offer French or German as a bonus. This full-time position starts in June and will continue until Christmas, with the potential to extend. You will join a supportive MFL team and contribute to delivering a rich, varied, and engaging curriculum that promotes language learning as a life skill.

Essential Requirements:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Strong knowledge of the GCSE curriculum
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated MFL lessons (primarily Spanish).
- Teach across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Contribute to the design and development of the MFL curriculum.
- Use a variety of teaching methods and technology to enhance learning.
- Support students with additional needs to access the MFL curriculum.
- Maintain up-to-date subject knowledge and participate in CPD.
- Promote language clubs, competitions or international events.
- Be involved in the wider life of the school community.
- Uphold safeguarding responsibilities in line with school policy.
