About the Role

The School is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Teacher of PE to join their supportive and high-achieving team. Pay rate: £150 - £251.71 (UPS rates will be considered)

Essential Requirements

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Ability to contribute to extracurricular sports and school fixtures
  • An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
  • Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress
  • Create a positive, active, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Promote healthy lifestyles and physical well-being
  • Adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners
  • Prepare students for internal and external assessments
  • Organise and lead extracurricular sports clubs and teams
  • Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and respect
  • Support students' physical, social, and emotional development
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  • Provide pastoral support and act as a positive role model
