Year 3 Primary Teacher
Location: Hunslet area, Leeds
Start Date: ASAP Until Christmas (with potential to extend or go permanent)
Availability: Full Time
Are you an experienced and confident primary teacher ready to hit the ground running? PK Education are working with a vibrant and diverse primary school near Hunslet who are on the lookout for a passionate Year 3 Teacher to join their team immediately.
This is a full-time, long-term role that will run until at least Christmas, with every chance it could be extended — and for the right person, there’s even potential for a permanent contract and leadership responsibilities.
About the Role:
- Full-time Year 3 class teacher role in a welcoming and inclusive Key Stage 2 team
- Responsible for planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons
- Supporting a diverse cohort of learners, including a high percentage of EAL and SEND pupils
- Plenty of support from an experienced SLT and great opportunities to get involved in whole-school life
What We’re Looking For:
- A qualified teacher with QTS who has completed their ECT period
- Someone with strong behaviour management skills who can create a positive, focused classroom environment
- A reflective practitioner with the confidence to take the lead when needed
- Leadership skills or ambitions are a big plus — there’s scope to get involved in the Senior Leadership Team for the right candidate
