The role?

This year 3 teacher role is a long term teaching position and there is scope for a permanent position after completing a couple of terms.

This position will suit someone who can deliver imaginative and engaging lessons tailored to meet the needs of all pupils in Year 3. You will provide a nurturing classroom environment that supports the academic and emotional development of each child.

You will work closely with the KS2 team to raise attainment and promote the love of learning.

As a Year 3 teacher in this school you will demonstrate a clear commitment to inclusion and safeguarding as well as the values of the school.

The ideal candidate?

We are looking for a Year 3 teacher who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has solid understanding of KS2 curriculum
  • Has high expectations for both behaviour and achievement in Year 3
  • Is reflective and creative
  • Experienced with lesson preparation and planning
  • Works well as part of a team
  • A valid DBS or willing to apply for one
