Our client is a leading large/wide format display business seeking an experienced Artworker to ensure the efficient processing of all client artwork from receipt to proof and the creation of print ready PDF files for production.
They produce high quality print for many major retailers; sports events; construction and Automobile companies.
The role is busy and requires accuracy, productive efficiency and flexibility to meet deadlines.
Preparing supplied artwork for large format production utilising Enfocus Switch & Pitstop (PDF Automation software) and Adobe Creative Suite, primarily Illustrator and InDesign
Image manipulation and colour correction where required
PDF Proofing
Conform to precise procedures and guidelines
Quality control of Print PDF files, Cut files and Proof Specification on PDFs
Data input and reporting
Maintain good communication on skills internally and externally
Work proficiently as an integral part of a busy, friendly production team
Flexibility to meet the demands of the Company and deadlines defined
Maintain and manage good housekeeping methods on all systems and workstations along within the workplace.
Upkeep of operational systems and software
Requirements:
Experience producing artwork for large format / wide format production
Large format digital and dye-sublimation knowledge
Adobe Creative Suite. Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and Acrobat
An understanding of digital file formats (PDF, tiff, eps)
An understanding of Mac operating system
