We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Client's restaurant in Leeds. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the culinary arts, ensuring that the team delivers exceptional service and quality food to the guests. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing both front-of-house and back-of-house operations, fostering a positive work environment, and driving the success of the restaurant.
Duties
- Supervise and lead all staff members, including kitchen and service teams, to ensure smooth operations.
- Oversee food preparation and production processes, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to maintain optimal stock.
- Implement training programmes for new employees, focusing on culinary skills, customer service, and operational procedures.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality ingredients are sourced.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures.
- Create a welcoming atmosphere for guests while addressing any concerns or feedback promptly.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items that reflect current trends and customer preferences.
- Ensure compliance with all local regulations regarding food safety and employee welfare.
