Graduate Psychology Secondary Teaching Assistant

Full-Time | Long-Term Role

Aspire People is currently seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant to support a vibrant and welcoming secondary school to support across the full academic year. This exciting opportunity is ideal for someone with proven experience, or aspiring teachers who wish to work in a secondary school before pursuing their teacher training.

The Role:
*Support across KS3-4 working alongside class teachers to deliver high-quality learning
*Work across a range of subjects, mainly working in your subject specialism or with young people with additional needs
*Deliver targeted intervention sessions outside of the classroom, helping to raise attainment
*Full-time position, with the potential to become a long-term post for the right candidate
*A trial day will be offered for shortlisted applicants

You will need:
* A degree in core subject, psychology or education related subject
* Recent, relevant experience working with young people is beneficial
* Confidence delivering intervention work to small groups
* A proactive attitude, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for education
