Location: Leeds

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: 17,500 - 19,500 per annum (32.5 hours per week)

The Role:

Veritas Education are working with a special educational needs setting in the Leeds area, who have a complex needs in-house provision, supporting children from 4 - 19 years old.

The school are looking to recruit a permanent staff member for their complex needs support team, someone who is comfortable and experienced supporting with a range of complex learning, physical and medical needs within young people.

Requirements:

• Enhanced Child and Adult DBS check (We can advise on this)
• Experience supporting physical, learning and medical needs, from either childcare or adult based settings.
• Be comfortable assisting with personal care, hygiene support and toiletry assistance.
• Be willing to learn and attend updated training to ensure the best care is delivered to the learners.
• Be committed, passionate and enthusiastic when it comes to supporting and caring for a range of learners, across varying age groups and severity of complex needs.
