SEND Teaching Assistants – North Leeds

Location: North Leeds (various mainstream primary schools)
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: £90 – £115 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, long-term (potential for permanent roles)

PK Education are on the lookout for dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to join our friendly partner schools across North Leeds. You’ll be supporting pupils across EYFS to KS2 who need extra support to succeed and feel included.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting children with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including Autism, ADHD, emotional regulation needs and challenging behaviour.
• Providing 1:1 support and working with small groups to help every child reach their potential.
• Working closely with class teachers and SENCOs to deliver engaging, inclusive learning.
• Creating a nurturing, positive classroom environment where every small success is celebrated.

What we’re looking for:

• Ideally, experience supporting children with SEND in a school or similar setting.
• A calm, compassionate and resilient personality.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for helping every child reach their full potential.
• Relevant qualifications are beneficial, but experience and attitude matter most.
