Job Title: Sociology Teacher Location: West Yorkshire Type: Temporary - Full-time Contract Length: Permanent Rate: £130 - £205 per day Eden Brown are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Sociology Teacher for a Sixth Form College in West Yorkshire to join their outstanding Social Sciences department. This is a full time temporary role to start 2nd June until 13th June, hours are as follows: Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm (Tuesday until 5pm for staff meeting) You will deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons to A-Level Sociology students, fostering critical thinking, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of contemporary social issues. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and deliver high-quality A-Level Sociology lessons in line with the AQA specification - Monitor and assess student progress, providing effective feedback and support - Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities - Participate in departmental and college-wide meetings and initiatives - Support the pastoral and academic development of students About You: - A degree in Sociology or a closely related discipline - A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) - though unqualified teachers with significant experience may also be considered - A passion for teaching and a commitment to student achievement - Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills - An understanding of the challenges and opportunities of working in a diverse, inclusive environment Candidates must also have a current DBS If this role could be of interest to you please contact Callum Boyle on or
