NextGen Teachers are currently recruiting for an experienced SEMH Teacher who has a passion for working with pupils with additional needs. This provision caters for pupils with Social and Emotional Mental health needs who may also have additional needs including: Autism, ADHD and Learning difficulties. The school is based in Leeds LS6 and is easily accessible by car and public transport.

The school caters for pupils from 11-16 years and they're seeking for a nurturing and enthusiastic Qualified Teacher with a background or passion in working with students with Special Needs or Mental Health needs who is seeking a new full-time position. This is a varied role so you will cover different core subjects with the pupils.

The school caters for pupils who are at risk of permanent exclusion across schools in the North West area. You will support pupils with the aim for pupils to return to mainstream education. The role can also include assessments and applications for EHCP or working with external parties including Social Workers and Charities.

We are seeking a candidate who has a real passion and drive to support students with additional needs and who is motivated to make a difference.
