Teaching Assistant

We are currently looking to recruit a teaching assistant to support in KS1 in one of our mainstream primary schools based in East Leeds. This is a long term role starting after October half term until the end of the academic year.

As an experienced and aspiring teaching assistant you will support pupils within KS1. We are particularly looking for teaching assistants with Phonics experience (Read,Write,Inc.).

This school in East Leeds provides a safe learning environment for all pupils and promote safeguarding and positive ethos across school.

* The ideal teaching assistant will have experience of working with children in KS1 and have experience delivering Phonics (Read,Write,Inc.).
* Candidates with experience working with children, SEND and/or the care industry will also be considered.
* A can do attitude and a willingness to help in other areas of the classroom
* The ability to use initiative and work well under pressure
* The ability to communicate effectively with the children and other staff member
