General Manager - Leisure Travel
Base Salary to £70,000 + Bonus and Great Benefits
Our client, a leading online/retail travel business is now recruitment for an experienced travel professional to join the team as General Manager.
The General Manager will have full responsibility for managing all day-to-day operations with retail sales, administration, marketing, and a rapidly expanding homeworking division.
The General Manager must have extensive senior management experience who have a proven track record in managing and developing teams whilst meeting revenue-based targets.
This is an office-based role in Yorkshire with some flexibility on home working.
General Manager Responsibilities and Duties:
Leading and managing an in-house call centre and admin team to achieve and exceed sales targets
Developing and executing marketing strategies across digital and traditional platforms
Overseeing website management and content for multiple travel brands
Expanding and supporting a national network of homeworkers, including recruitment, onboarding, and training
Identifying and launching new product opportunities, with a focus on high-margin offerings such as cruise and long-haul travel
General Manager Experience Required:
Extensive experience in retail travel management, or call centre, or homeworking environments
Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams
Strong Commercial acumen with a proven track record in achieving sales and exceeding targets
Extensive knowledge of leisure travel products and customer expectations
General Manager Salary and Benefits:
Base Salary up to £70,000 + Performance-related bonus
