Finance Manager (Part-Time, 3 Days Per Week to Start)

Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Finance Manager to take ownership of a varied financial portfolio spanning business and charitable accounts, alongside personal projects. This is a part-time opportunity (three days per week initially) with scope to expand as the role develops.
The role will include:
- Full financial management of a professional project team, including overseeing day-to-day bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, processing and approving payments, tracking expenses, managing budgets, and producing accurate reports for review by key stakeholders
- Setting up and maintaining accounts for a new charity, working closely with the project lead to ensure compliance, clear reporting, and smooth financial operations
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong experience with Xero accounting software
- Confidence working with accounts managed via Google Drive
- Proven ability to work independently and proactively, with minimal supervision
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively under pressure
- Excellent communication skills, with experience collaborating across multiple stakeholders
- Professionalism, discretion, and the ability to handle sensitive personal and financial information
