I'm looking for a Data Quality & Governance Manager to join a global business in Leeds - they are building a modern data platform, using cutting-edge technologies including Snowflake and Microsoft Azure.

You'll join their newly established Data Team, based in their modern office space in Leeds - you'll spend at least 3 days per week in the office to collaborate with your team, in what's a very fast-paced, forward-thinking and entrepreneurial environment.

In this brand-new role, you will lead on the development and implementation of frameworks for data quality, governance, and master data management (MDM), ultimately shaping how data is trusted and used across the organisation.

You'll work closely with Data Engineers, to ensure the effective management of data warehouse architecture and data pipelines, using a combination of Snowflake and Microsoft Azure technologies.

You'll also look at implementing data governance tools and platforms (e.g. Purview), and ensure the smooth integration of these tools within the broader data architecture.

This role would be well-suited to someone who is both technically and commercially minded, and who thrives in a dynamic and quickly evolving environment - you will be given a lot of autonomy and, for the right person, this is an opportunity to make a huge impact!

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in enterprise data quality / governance / management roles
  • Hands-on experience with data platforms like Snowflake and Azure
  • Experience in data profiling, data migration, and working with data pipelines
  • Experience in data classification models and data lineage tracking
  • Excellent communication and ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels

Benefits:

  • Salary up to around £70,000 depending on experience
  • Discretionary bonus
  • Pension with 4% employer contribution
  • 25 days annual leave (increasing with service) plus bank holidays
  • Holiday purchase scheme
  • Electric or hybrid car scheme

Please Note: This is role for UK residents only. This role does not offer Sponsorship. You must have the right to work in the UK with no restrictions. Some of our roles may be subject to successful background checks including a DBS and Credit Check.
