We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the Utilities and Renewables sector. This role is ideal for someone with a robust background in IT infrastructure installation, including structured cabling and fibre optic systems, who has advanced into managing large-scale projects within Energy, Police, and Critical National Infrastructure sectors.

Day-to-Day of the Role:

  • Lead the delivery of large industrial projects for our Energy clients, ensuring timely and budget-compliant execution.
  • Manage multiple end-to-end customer projects with potentially conflicting priorities.
  • Coordinate with team leaders to effectively manage resources allocated to projects.
  • Maintain proactive communication with customers, providing regular updates on project progress while ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Generate and analyse project KPI reports focusing on billing and profitability targets.
  • Identify and manage risks within projects, working collaboratively with the team to mitigate potential issues.
  • Oversee Health & Safety risks associated with onsite activities in potentially hazardous industrial locations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience managing large projects with budgets of £1 million and above.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage the commercial aspects of large-scale projects.
  • Strong background in infrastructure project management.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and MS Project with excellent project management reporting skills.
  • Familiarity with established project management methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, and Prince2.
  • Experience in managing Health & Safety risks in industrial sites.
  • Excellent communication skills and commercial acumen.
  • Ability to work flexibly across locations, including evenings and weekends as project demands.
  • Full UK driving license and the ability to achieve Security clearance (to NPPV3 SC).
