We are seeking a dedicated and proactive IT 1st line Support Technician who thrives in a collaborative environment. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in IT, with a focus on maintaining and improving the IT systems in an industrial/manufacturing setting.

Description

  • Providing first line support for all IT-related issues.
  • Assisting with IT projects and contributing to the development of the IT infrastructure.
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Coordinating with team members to ensure efficient operations.
  • Implementing new technologies and system updates.
  • Providing training and support to staff on IT systems and procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance with IT policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date IT documentation.

Profile

A successful 1st line Support Technician should have:

  • A relevant qualification in IT or a related field.
  • Proven problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex IT concepts in simple terms.
  • Experience in an IT support role within an industrial/manufacturing environment desirable but not essential
  • Knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure.
