Description
- Providing first line support for all IT-related issues.
- Assisting with IT projects and contributing to the development of the IT infrastructure.
- Maintaining and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Coordinating with team members to ensure efficient operations.
- Implementing new technologies and system updates.
- Providing training and support to staff on IT systems and procedures.
- Ensuring compliance with IT policies and procedures.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date IT documentation.
Profile
A successful 1st line Support Technician should have:
- A relevant qualification in IT or a related field.
- Proven problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex IT concepts in simple terms.
- Experience in an IT support role within an industrial/manufacturing environment desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure.
