HGV Technician

We're looking for a skilled HGV Technician to carry out inspections, servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on a modern, mixed fleet of commercial vehicles.
You'll report to the Workshop Manager and take pride in delivering quality work - first time, every time.
What You'll Be Doing
Routine inspections, servicing & maintenance
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical & electrical faults
Working on tippers, grabs, and hydraulic systems
Managing parts, time, and repairs efficiently
Maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship
What You'll Need
City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or time-served)
Ideally IRTEC accreditation
HGV Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) licence (car licence holders also considered)
Knowledge of cranes, hydraulics, or tippers
Experience using modern diagnostic systems
A positive, flexible attitude and a strong team focus

35,984 basic salary
10,120 average overtime
3,373 alternate Saturday mornings
