Are you a skilled Mechanical Fitter ready to take your work across the globe?

Mpeople Recruitment is working with a long-established engineering firm in Micklefield, Leeds. With over 25 years in business, our client designs and manufactures bespoke dust containment systems for the pharmaceutical industry.

Due to continued growth, they’re now looking for a Mechanical Fitter who can fully commit to worldwide travel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mechanical assembly of high-spec containment equipment

  • Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)

  • Dismantling, packing and preparing systems for dispatch

  • On-site installation and commissioning (UK and worldwide)

  • Final inspection to ensure quality and safety standards

You Must Be
  • From a mechanical or HVAC background

  • Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent

  • Comfortable reading technical drawings and following precise specifications

  • Committed to regular global travel as part of the role

  • A clear communicator and team player

  • Focused on delivering high workmanship standards

  • Electrical knowledge would be a bonus

This role involves roughly 30% international and UK travel, so flexibility and the ability to be away from home is essential

Working Hours
  • 38 hours per week

  • Monday – Thursday: 7:30am – 4:00pm

  • Friday: 7:30am – 1:30pm

  • Paid overtime available
