The Role:Â
You’ll be assembling and testing complex, high-precision OEM machinery in a fast-paced and supportive environment.Â
Key responsibilities include:Â

Mechanical assembly of machinery and tooling to customer specificationsÂ

Fault diagnosis, testing, and quality checkingÂ

Collaborating with engineers and supporting semi-skilled colleaguesÂ

Maintaining a clean, safe, and audit-ready workspaceÂ

Assisting apprentices and mentoring new startersÂ

Escalating issues and contributing to problem-solving investigationsÂ
What You’ll Get:Â

Salary: ÂŁ34,710 per annum (ÂŁ17.80/hour)Â

Contract: Fixed-Term until end of 2025Â

Holiday: 28 days rising to 33 after 12 weeksÂ

Hours: Full-time, days (no nights!)Â

Pension: Enrolment after 12 weeksÂ

What We’re Looking For:Â

Apprentice trained or NVQ Level 3 in mechanical engineering (or equivalent)Â

Minimum 2 years’ experience assembling industrial or manufacturing equipmentÂ

Ability to read engineering drawings and follow SOPsÂ

Flexible, safety-first mindset and team player attitudeÂ

Comfortable mentoring and supporting junior colleaguesÂ
