Claims Handler - Full-Time

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join a dynamic claims team as a Claims Handler. This role offers structured training across various lines of insurance risk, enabling you to develop a broad skill set and grow your career within claims management.

You will play a key role in delivering an accurate, efficient, professional, and market-leading claims service to clients and insurers, ensuring their needs are met with care and expertise. You’ll also provide valuable support to the Claims Manager, Client Servicing Director, and senior leadership as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage claims across a range of insurance products, with a primary focus on motor fleet clients

  • Ensure service standards are consistently met or exceeded

  • Maintain an efficient diary system, chasing claims as necessary to ensure timely progression

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Acturis

  • Provide claims information and reports to the broking department and clients

  • Handle complex claims in line with company procedures

  • Acknowledge all new claims to clients and insurers, keeping clients informed throughout and aiming for the best outcome on each claim

  • Produce claims MI and reports when required

  • Attend client meetings to present claims information when necessary

  • Undertake ad-hoc duties as directed by management

  • Maintain and manage personal continuing professional development (CPD), keeping skills and knowledge current

Requirements:

  • Minimum of GCSE (or equivalent) education - required

  • At least 2 years of experience in claims processing - required
